		<description>Good points, although a stumbling block to relying on our glorious human overlords is that politicians only have four-year foresight, and addressing environmental issues is inherently a long term project. No politician wants to risk votes (because, let&#039;s face it, they&#039;re not in it for the good of humanity are they?) but hopefully they will support change so they can claim to be the instigators of a new social paradigm of environmental awareness.

In reality, they&#039;re as baffled as the mainstream media about anything vaguley technical, scientific or even rational.</description>
